A Calibre rate is quoted for a seniority and a model. Send both on the engagement form. The reply is the rate for that pair.
The models are embedded, part-time, and team. Embedded is full-time on your team. Part-time is fractional hours on a fixed cadence. Team is a pod of three to five engineers with a lead, and the rate in the reply is for that pod.
Seniority on the form is mid, senior, staff, or executive. The role pages name the seniority published for each roster role.
What the reply is
The reply is the rate for the seniority and model you sent. It is not the contract. The exact quote follows the role you specify: stack, seniority, model, and start date. The full agreement is signed before engagement starts.
The rate is for the seniority and model you sent. The credential check and the quarterly review are part of the placement, not a separate line.
Delivery geography
Where the engineer sits is an input to the quote, not a published price list. Timezone overlap and the stack you send change the number. The verification standard does not: certifications are checked with the issuing body regardless of region.
Send seniority, model, and region on the engagement form. The reply is the rate.
Terms next to the rate
Termination notice and billing cadence are on Engagement Terms: 14 days for embedded and part-time, 30 days for a team. Billing is weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, in arrears, net 15.
The verification record is separate from the rate. You receive the credential sheet once engagement is underway.
FAQ
What are Calibre staff augmentation rates?
The rate returned for the seniority and model you send on the [engagement form](/calibre/engagement#request-rate). The exact quote follows the role specification.
Does nearshore or offshore change the verification standard?
No. Every engineer placed through Calibre is primary-source authenticated directly at the issuing registry (AWS, CNCF, ISACA, PCI SSC) regardless of location.
Is the reply the contract?
No. The reply is the rate for the seniority and model you sent. The agreement is signed before the engagement starts.
